When you were first introduced to the skin enhancing benefits of glycolic acid (e.g. moisturizing and light exfoliation), you probably began using products that contained lower concentrations of this popular alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA). This allowed your skin to become accustomed to the exfoliating benefits and lessened the risk for irritation and discomfort. The Glycolic Series includes products that contain 8% glycolic acid, 10% glycolic acid, and 15% glycolic acid. These concentration are higher than the AHA products that are commonly available in department stores and drugstores, which is one of the reasons they are available exclusively though doctors. The Glycolic Series provides your doctor with a range of products that allows for the potential of a gradual increase to higher, more effective AHA concentrations. If your doctor assesses your skin to be more tolerant than the norm, or if you have already used AHA products, it is not unusual to begin with one of the higher strengths.

Glycolic Series:

• This extra-rich, emollient cream contains 8% glycolic acid for light exfoliation and hydration of sun-damage skin. It is often recommended for nighttime use (after cleansing) for all but the oiliest complexions. It will leave your skin feeling and looking smoother, healthier, and more radiant.

• A daytime companion to the AHA Skin Smoothing Cream, this 8% glycolic cream is perfect to smooth on under makeup. It is recommended for daytime use (after cleansing) because in addition to providing moisturizing and light exfoliation, it has SPF 15 for broad-spectrum sun protection. This will help prevent future damage from the sun. Vitamin E is also included for antioxidant protection. You’ll have younger, healthier-looking skin before long.

• This silky smooth, lightweight, 10% glycolic acid lotion for all-over use provides moisture and light exfoliation. It is commonly recommended for use after cleansing for people with normal or oily skin.

• Used after cleansing and prior to moisturizing, this 8% glycolic acid solution helps remove excess oils to better prep skin for the next step in your regimen. It’s an excellent companion product to many acne therapies, as well as a substitute for your toner.

• This extra-rich, emollient cream contains our highest concentration of glycolic acid: 15%. People already accustomed to the benefits of AHAs will find this products to be boost to their regimen.

• This lotion for all-over use glides onto the skin like silk and also contains 15% glycolic acid. The key difference is that this can be used both on the body and the face. Even suited for people with acne-prone skin.

• This unique gel contains 15% glycolic acid, making it highly effective for treating oily complexions. Try it on rough, dry elbows and knees, and you’ll be amazed by its results.

• This gel is another one of our products containing the higher, 15% glycolic acid concentration. It is the answer to the rough, dry, thickened, and/ or calloused skin often found on feet. Many customers tell us it’s better than a pedicure. Even cuticles get moisturized.
