Cosmetic Plastic Surgery
Dr. Tran began his career in Vietnam. He was graduated from the medical school at HUE University and trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Barsky Unit in Saigon. Dr. Tran has an outstanding background in reconstructive surgery from his surgical experience gained during the Vietnam War.
In 1975, Dr. Tran and his family came to the United States and embarked upon a full American training program in plastic surgery. He completed a general surgery residency at Stanford University Medical Center and UCSF-Fresno VMC. He completed a plastic surgery residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Practicing in Valencia since 1984, Dr. Tran incorporates trauma work and hand surgery into his practice, as well as traditional cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Over the years, Dr. Tran has endeavored to stay attuned to modern techniques and methodology through on-going professional education and teaching. He is known and respected for his conservative approach to patient care and care for the patient as a whole. He received many acclamations and testimonial letters from his peers and patients. Dr Tran rise to excellence in the medical field when he accepted 2002 Flame of Life Award of Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital and The Commendation from Los Angeles County and Santa Clarita City.
